A very colorful small carpet that will brighten up
any room, The design is a mixture of stylized flowers and small
geometric motifs set within a dark green center field and a single
outer border. When made, the design motifs of this carpet were bordered
in black, during the cleaning and finishing process the black pile
was cut back by hand to form a 'valley', giving the design motifs
and borders a three dimensional look. The design, including the
black outlines can be seen on the reverse side. |
