A geometric design bordered by stylized flowers.
When made, the design motifs of this carpet were bordered in black,
during the cleaning and finishing process the black pile was cut
back by hand to form a 'valley', giving the design motifs a three
dimensional look. The design, including the black outlines can of
course be seen on the reverse side.
