A very traditional medium sized runner with a
classical Milas design. This is a
lighter weight carpet in very pleasing pastel shades of brown
contrasting with unusually, pale lilac. When it was made the design motifs and
panel borders were outlined in black, during the cleaning and
finishing process the black pile was cut back by hand to form a
'valley', giving the design motifs and panel borders a three
dimensional look. The design, including the black outlines can
still be seen on the reverse side. |
