Longer than the average medium sized carpet this
carpet has a dusty red center panel with stylized 'chickens feet'
and an interesting diamond motif. The dividing borders between the
outer borders and the center panel are small triangles which unique.
When it was made the design motifs and panel borders were outlined
in black, during the cleaning and finishing process the black pile
was cut back by hand to form a 'valley', giving the design motifs
and panel borders a three dimensional look. The design, including
the black outlines can still be seen on the reverse side.
